24-Hour Emergency Assistance
RTI can provide an acute service which assists with persons living in their own home titled 24-Hour Emergency Assistance.
This service provides a 24-hour Mental Health Practitioner who is trained in crisis intervention and each individual’s support plan. Practitioners are available to respond face-to-face at the person’s home during personal or health emergencies. The service can also provide scheduled face-to-face contact as designated in the person’s support plan.
For persons who desire to live in a community setting this service may be quite helpful. Individuals who require or desire 24-hour support but would prefer to not live in a 24-hour facility, such as an adult foster care home, may find this service to be just what is needed to reside in a community setting.
